Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C)

One of the latest, most stable, bioavailable forms of oil-soluble Vitamin C ester that has excellent penetration into the skin.  Tested and found to be a highly effective antioxidant and an MMP inhibitor.  MMP (Matrix Metalloproteases) are enzymes called collagenase and elastase that break down collagen and are responsible for elasticity loss.  Clinical studies have shown it increases fibroblast activity and aids in the acceleration of collagen synthesis.  It clarifies and brightens the skin by inhibiting melanin.  New tests have shown that this form of Vitamin C protects DNA.  It helps in the prevention of UV induced cell damage.
