Beta-Glucan

Enhances the skin’s natural defense mechanism. Triggers the Langerhans cells which triggers the LC to activate dermal macrophages (cells that recognize foreign matter). The macrophages, once activated, set in motion a natural process by activating fibroblasts that activate collagen synthesis.

Borage Oil 

Rich in Omega-6 lipids, it metabolizes into the structural lipids. Contains linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid that belong to a group of essential fatty acids that repair and maintain the natural moisture barrier of the skin.

Burdock Extract

Extracted from the root, it is credited with antibacterial properties and helps regulate and normalize oil production.  It is exceptionally effective for clearing and refining the skin.

Bentonite Clay

White clay with excellent oil-absorbing properties. Minimizes pores, refines texture.

Bisabolol

Derived from Chamomile, it has excellent anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties. Soothes irritations. Also antibacterial.

Bromelain

Keratin-specific enzyme from the pineapple plant that digests dead skin cells.  Refines the texture of the skin.

Benzoyl Peroxide

Anti-bacterial agent that functions by forcing peroxide into the follicle where it releases oxygen, killing the anaerobic P. acne bacteria. It also causes peeling deep in the follicle, which loosens acne impactions and prevents new impactions from forming. It controls oil, reduces inflammation and is unsurpassed in addressing all grades of acne.
