KEY INGREDIENTS

Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide    Peptides composed of amino acids that act as "feedback peptides," selected natural messengers that act specifically on the cells of the dermis, signaling them to synthesize connective tissue composed of collagen I, III, IV, Hyaluronic Acid and Glucosaminoglycans.  Firms the skin and decreases lines and wrinkles.

Textrahexyldecyl Ascorbate    One of the latest, most stable, bioavailable forms of oil-soluble Vitamin C ester that has excellent penetration into the skin.  Tested and found to be a highly effective antioxidant and an MMP inhibitor.  MMP, matrix metalloproteases, are enzymes called collagenase and elastase that break down collagen and are responsible for elasticity loss.  Clinical studies have shown it increases fibroblast activity and aids in the acceleration of collagen synthesis.  It clarifies and brightens the skin by inhibiting melanin.  New tests have shown that this form of Vitamin C protects DNA.  It helps in the prevention of UV induced cell damage.

Retinyl Palmatate   Ester of retinol and palmitic acid and is an antioxidant.  It acts as an antikeratinizing agent, helping the skin stay soft and plump, while improving its water-barrier properties.  Studies have shown it increases collagen synthesis, skin thickness and elasticity.
